Editing research

Before putting my footage together I have done some research into the common conventions of editing in music videos. I will include these techniques in my final product to represent indie music videos and how they are usually edited.
The most commonly used  editing techniques I found were:

• Jump cut 
• Match cut
• Cut 
• Cross-cutting (so I can go back and forth from narrative and performance footage)  
• Fade-in/fade-out
